Etobicoke will appeal to house buyers that use several means of transportation. The reasonably good public transit access allows people to get to many destinations without needing a car thanks to plenty of rapid transit stations on the 109 | Meadowvale Express and Bloor - Danforth Line, and over 50 nearby bus lines. Physically active house buyers will also appreciate the pedestrian-friendly nature of Etobicoke; most daily needs are convenient to carry out without having to resort to a car. Biking is occasionally challenging in Etobicoke because the cycling network is not very extensive, and riding a bicycle is rendered arduous by the typically steep terrain.
Services
Families will welcome that wherever their house is situated in Etobicoke, schools and daycares are close by. In terms of food, the closest supermarket in Etobicoke is usually only a reasonably short walk away. Likewise, a restaurant is often just around the corner, and property owners benefit from over 100 cafes as well.
Character
Home buyers who prefer a calm atmosphere will enjoy Etobicoke. This area features a good amount of greenery; there are over 350 green spaces close by for residents to check out, like Colonel Samuel Smith Park and Rowntree Mills Park, making them very easy to get to. In addition, residents will find that the tree canopy coverage for most streets is fairly good. The noise levels in this area are also reasonably low, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour - although that is not the case around the airport (YYZ), Highway 427, Queen Elizabeth Way or one of the railway lines.
